    What I Learned?

    In the first course I took through Digital Marketer (Content Marketing Mastery Certification) it began by explaining the history of content marketing and how it started. It is essential to understand the foundations of content marketing and how it ties into the overall digital marketing strategy before you begin to learn about new methods to try. It then dove into the different types of content, benefits of each, and metrics you should use to track your success.

    Yes, there was definitely information that I already knew taught in the course, but everyone needs a refresher. There is nothing more essential than continual learning, especially in marketing. With new updates, changes, and trends every single day, if you do not keep learning, you will fall behind.

    And specifically in the marketing agency world, if you are not constantly learning and testing new strategies than that could mean lost clients. The Content Marketing Mastery Certification was extremely beneficial for me as a content marketer, but would also be helpful for other marketing professionals.
